Even one exposure can cause an addiction cycle in which the body will violently react unless drugs or alcohol
are administered in ever-increasing dosages. Most drug addicts do not want to be drug addicts. but without taking the
abuse substance their body will eventually win the battle and make them repeat.

repeating the drug, Methadone, jail or death.
B. In addition, to the hopeless health problem...
the addict often has serious legal problems.
WE BELIEVE THAT THE COMBINATION OF THE HEALTH AND LEGAL PROBLEMS CAN ACTUALLY CREATE A REALISTIC SOLUTION.

SHISAN uses all of those team members, and tools together through a 5 level case management plan.
We have taken all of tools (musical instruments) and team members (musicians) and created, a patent pending,
case management system, which when followed in a directed team approach can give tha addict the power to just
say no and really mean it.
Level 1. ORIENTATION
It begins with our office informing the client/patient that he or she is here by invitation only, our invitation
not theirs. We will not except, anything less than a properly oriented, properly motivated, willing patient/client,
who must appear with a family, friend, or hired mentor, both of whom make life-changing promises, that are formalized
into legally enforceable documents...

Level 2, ASSESSMENT
The patient/client submits to the standard battery of psychological legal , substance abuse, sociological, spiritual
and vocational assessments. This level is concluded with an immediate referral to an addiction physician.
Level 3, ADDICTION DOCTOR
The patient/client, mentor and case manager, immediately visit a network addiction physician. The addiction physician,
drawing upon all of the above stated assessments, creates an individualized treatment strategy on standardized documentation,
which treatment strategy is immediately implemented and formalized in a legally binding manner.
In this area, physicians now have available to them, amazing new medical tools in medications, which can, painlessly
eliminate withdrawal, and second medication, by pill, injection, or , implant, which can eliminate the ability of the
patient/client to get high on drugs or alcohol.
This pharmacology, is perhaps the most breathtaking development in this area.
This pharmacology, does not include methadone.
This two-step pharmacology, is an abstinence based strategy with ultimate objectives of having the patient/client become
“drug or alcohol free”
Level 4. TOTAL WELLNESS
Emphasises that the patient/client is a total human being. Addiction and other counselors, also drawing upon the assessments,
and the individualized treatment strategy from the addiction physician, take full advantage of this opportunity to work with
this individual, in other more comprehensive areas, which include without limit:
12-step process,
Spiritual, mental, physical, educational, vocational, development
Leadership, mentoring/citizenship, and reputation enhancement/development.
Level 5 VALIDATION
The highest state of the art, technologies, and compliance strategies are implemented for self policing, and proper validation,
including certificates of compliance, which may be required by a third-party. We are not an excuse making enabler
and accountability is backed up by evidence in our program requirements, including pre- agreed releases from client/patients.
If the pharmacology mentioned before, was the most breathtaking development, in our war drugs, a close second to that, is
the availability of technologies, which include hair testing, alcohol monitoring bracelets, and global positioning satellite
bracelets, all of which can be used, to not only assure compliance, but also produce scientific evidence based proof to...
